The Haudenosaunee: An In-depth Introduction and Refresher Course

Friends of Ganondagan is pleased to announce the return of our Educator's Day! This program is perfect for teachers and educators to either get an introduction to Haudenosaunee history and culture or to refresh what they have already learned.

The day will include sessions on:

  •  Life in a Matrilineal Society - The Role of Women
  • Sustenance - Using the Land, Food and Agriculture
  • The Confederacy and the Grand Council
  • From Colonial Times to Today - Contemporary Haudenosaunee Issues

Cost: $50.00- Registration is full for this event (SOLD OUT)

Cost Includes: All sessions, materials, free pass to Ganondagan, 10% off at the Ganondagan gift shop, light breakfast and lunch

Please bring a lesson plan (about the Iroquois/Haudenosaunee) you are willing to share and/or an outline of the topics you teach. As a thank you, you will be entered into a special drawing.
