Cranberry Bread

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbs. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
juice & zest of 1 orange
boiling water
1 c. whole cranberries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Sift all dry ingredients together. Dust cranberries with flour. Place orange juice & zest in measuring cup and add boiling water to make 3/4 cup. Cream butter and sugar together. Then mix in the orange mixture and egg. Blend cranberries, nuts, and juice mixture into dry ingredients. Bake in small loaf pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
